My Fenty Favorites
Fenty Beauty always puts out some fantastic beauty products. I wanted to share my 4 top brand favorites today for you all and hopefully you all will share your favorites with me in the comments below.
First up is the Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 370. Shade 360 is really close to my skintone as well. I like the coverage this foundation provides as well as the 40+ shade range. I know I'm always going to be able to find my shade in this range. If you can't wear matte foundations because you have drier skin, I suggest trying their dewy foundation range which provides a more wet finish and comes with just as many shades as the original foundation. I have been told by some friends that this foundation has made them breakout (not an issue for me) so I suggest seeing if you can get a small sample to test out the foundation before purchase.
I am absolutely in love with Fenty's six shadow palettes. They are miniature in size and fit comfortable in the palm of your hand. They are small and durable enough to toss into your travel makeup back without worrying that you will have shattered your eyeshadow palette upon arrival at your destination. Since I'm a melanated girl, my favorite palette is the Peach shade since the shades provide a soft natural look on my skintone. Each palette contains a variety of matte and shimmer shades which are easy to apply on the lid and blend with both the fingers and a set of brushes.
My next favorite product from Fenty Beauty is their Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow pencil ($20). I have naturally black hair as a South Asian woman, but I use the shade Dark Brown for my brows for a more natural and soft look.
My final product favorite is the Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer ($26) in shade 370. The concealer shades directly match their foundation counterparts so there is no guesswork here. Once you've found your foundation shade, you've also got your concealer shade (unless you like your concealer to be a few shades lighter or darker). The concealer is matte as well so it works perfectly for me with the foundation. On days when I want a less full coverage look or just more breathability when wearing makeup, I will just spot conceal with this concealer and blend everything out with my makeup sponge.

All Time Favorite Morphe Cosmetics Products
Today I wanted to talk about some of my favorite all time Morphe Cosmetics products.
First up is the Morphe Bake and Set Setting Powder. I use the shades Banana and Banana Rich. The powder is finely milled and mimics the effect of the more high end Ben Nye Banana powder or the Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana powder, but is more affordable at $12 for 0.31 oz. I use it to set my under eye area after applying concealer. I take just a tiny dab and dust off my brush to set my under eye area. If there is any remaining power, I will use it to set the rest of my face.
My second favorite product from Morphe is the original Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette. A huge drawback is that it's a bit bulky to travel with. However, it has a huge selection of neutral shades and a few pops of color (blue, green, purple) for if you want to create a more dramatic look at an affordable price point ($39). It includes a variety of finishes as well ranging from matte, satins, and shimmers.
My final favorite product from Morphe is their FLUIDITY FULL-COVERAGE CONCEALER. I wear their concealer in shade 3.45 (Fenty 370 skintone). The concealer is $10 and provides great affordable coverage for all of my imperfections and dark under eye circles. I usually just dab the product under my eyes and on some hyperpigmentation spots on my face and blend out the product with my blending sponge. The concealer is buildable if you want to build it up. However, I suggest using your fingers for this as the blending sponge can sheer out the product.
What are your favorite products from Morphe? Do you have any products you think I should try?

August Favorites: MAC, Ole Henriksen, Nars and More!
1. Rainymood.com. I love the rain and this website gives me the next best thing! I just turn it on at night on my Iphone when I can't sleep. It's an insomniac's dream.
2. Lorenzana polish by Julep. I have been wearing this perfect nude color for a few months after getting it in my last maven box!
3. Ole Henriksen's Truth Serum Collagen Booster. I can't get enough of this. I layer it under my Murad Night Cream and I have had the most flawless, dewy skin all month long. It's especially great because I feel like I don't get huge breakouts anymore or scarring left on my skin especially during that time of the month. ;)
4. MAC's Springsheen Blush. This blush is a total dupe of NARS Orgasm and also of Milani's Rose D'Oro. It gives you the perfect summertime flush of pink for youthful cheeks.
5. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I am in the color Caramel. I have recently switched over to this concealer from Bobbi Brown since I feel like it creases less. I set mine with a little powder under the eyes and I am good for almost the whole day.
What have you been loving this summer???

MAC Haul: Cream in Your Coffee, Mocha, Concealer, and Brush #224
I recently made a few trips to MAC to browse with Anna and pick up some things I wanted. Hope you guys enjoy this haul!
Creme in Your Coffee Lipstick
I asked one of the makeup artists to recommend a lip color that I could wear during the day to work since all the colors I have are red. Some people are comfortable wearing red lips to work, but I am not one of them. I work in a research lab surrounded by a bunch of guys who either 1) could care less about makeup or 2) think I'm trying to score a date if I'm dressed up. Long story short, this is what the makeup artist recommended.
Pros
Color: A pretty nude with a very natural color that works on a very large range of skin tones. It gives me "natural looking" lips; I could have actually been born with this lip color.
Consistency: MAC lipsticks are known to be really smooth and creamy. This one is no different. My lips feel like butter even without gloss and they never dry out.
Cons
Longevity: The first time I wore this color I had to reapply it three times during the day. It comes off on everything when you eat or drink.
Mocha Lipstick (Satin)
This color came out during the Mickey Contractor collection for MAC and has been a part of the permanent line since then. For those of you who don't know: Mickey Contractor is the makeup artist responsible for making Bollywood actresses look as beautiful as they do. I had to snatch up this color when I visited my MAC store because being part of a collection geared at South Asians this color is perfect on me. Two other lipsticks that were a part of this collection Mehr and Yash were limited edition, but they are now a part of the regular MAC lipstick line. The down side to this fabulous news is that they can only be purchased at a MAC Pro store or online.
Pros:
Pros:
Color: Perfect for South Asian skin tones anywhere from lightly tan to a chocolate milk brown.
Studio Finish Concealer SPF 35 Broad Spectrum in NW40
Anna was trying to perfect a nude lip look and the makeup artist recommended lining her lips with a bit of concealer beforehand. We both marveled at how "concealing" the concealer was and both decided to invest in a pot.
**Note: Image is not in NW40 color
**Note: Image is not in NW40 color
Pros:
Color: A perfect match for my skin tone.
Quality: The best concealer I have used to date. It conceals things I want to stay hidden and looks very natural on my skin.
Brush #224
This brush is great to use to "air brush" my concealer on. I just swirl this brush in a circular motion in the concealer I mentioned above and then brush on the concealer in a circular motion on my face in the areas where I feel like I need some concealing.
Cons:
Price: Around $30 for the brush, but if you are looking for a brush that will last a lifetime, this is it.
What are your favorite MAC products? Looking forward to any new collections?
XOXO,
