Here are my final favorites for the year of 2018.
I love the way this smells. It's exactly like the Black Cherry Merlot candle. It has fragrance notes of marachino cherry, pomegranate cider, raspberry bloom, sugared musk and black cherry amaretto. Personally, I can only smell the cherry, musk, and amaretto. My mom doesn't like "alcoholic" scents (amaretto) so if that is something that bothers you as well, this might be one scent to skip.
I called my sister up to tell her this was the only eyeshadow palette I would ever need. I'm a horder so we know this isn't the last one I'm going to purchase, but a girl can dream. Brown girls look very flattering in pink tones of makeup and it's a very popular color among South Asians so this is the prfect palette since it has all the pink tones. Additionally, it comes with many formulas from mattes, shimmers, and glitters. I use my fingers to put on the shimmers and glitters and it works nicely without giving me fallout. The shadows also blend with literally no effort.
A staple. Full coverage and it gets the job done. What more do you need?
I have been obsessed with this since I bought it years ago. It's the perfect brown highlight shade on my skintone (Fenty 370/MAC NW40). There's no gold and it's all bronze which is how I like my highlights in winter when my skin is paler and cannot handle the gold tones in many highlighters without making me look like a Oscar.
I wanted an everyday small purse I could take with me for quick errands and whenever I didn't want to drag around a huge purse. This has plenty of room for a lipstick, Kleenex, and credit cards. It also has a zippered inside pocket in case the buttoned clasp is not secure enough for you.
I can't get over the gold flakes in this polish. My mom loved it too and thought it was very appropriate for the festive season.
I've been using this all year to prime my eyelids before putting on eyeshadow. It's a staple. If your eyelids are super oily however, this product may cause your eyelid makeup to crease.
The BEST drugstore mascara. It's a total dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and gives my lashes a very elongated, voluminous look that is comparable to falsies.
This is one of my holy grail products for 2018. It's a drugstore dupe for the ABH brow whiz and at the price, the performance can't be beat. I love the smaller more precise tip as well since it gives me more control to create fine, hair-like fibers where I don't have brow hairs to give a more natural appearance.
I use this under my eyes to conceal and correct my dark under eye circles. Usually, I go in with this product first and then overlay a regular concealer over the top of it. Finally I set everything with my Ben Nye banana powder.
This scent has fragrance notes of gingersnap, nutmeg, orange zest, brown sugar and tonka bean. The strongest fragrance notes in this body butter to me are the gingersnap and orange zest. The fragrance lasts all day and while you may not be able to smell it, others around you will definitely be able to. When someone in my family puts this on, the bathroom and the person smell like this scent for quite a long time. The body butter is quite moisturizing as well. I put it on twice a day morning and night and it is enough to hydrate my skin in the dry winter desert weather.
