So Essie just released their new Summer/Fall collection for 2019: Rocky Rose. I purchased two of the polishes that caught my eye for review here. Overall the collection is full of earth-toned pinks, browns and oranges that transition nicely from summer to fall and flatter all skin tones including deeper people of color. Below, I have reviewed the muted dusty brown named Cliff Hanger.
Cliff Hanger is a muted dusty brown that is a great neutral/nude on my MAC NC45/NW40 (you can find all my foundation shades HERE) girls (medium neutral brown skintone). I applied two coats over a base polish and there were no streaks. The new wide brush also makes application on the nails very easy. Overall, I really love how this color looks and performs on my nails and I'm sure it will be a fall staple this year.
